Christian Art
Christianity makes use of images which are not allowed in Islam and Judaism. Christian art is made to illustrate and portray the principles of Christianity. Scenes from the Life of Christ and images of Jesus are the most common subjects. Images of the Virgin Mary and saints are found more in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox art rather that in Protestant art.
