Adam and Eve
God created the shape of a man in his image to keep him company and look after the world. Then He breathed gently into the shape. The man's eye's opened and he began to live. He called him Adam. God made the garden of Eden for him to live and the garden was full of many wonderful things. He then brought all the animals to Adam one at a time to be given their names. "Elephant", he would say, or "Tiger", or giraffe But God felt sorry for Adam, None of the animals where really like him. So that night, God took a rib from Adam's side and made a woman. When Adam awoke, he found a wife, Eve,
God blessed them, saying, "All this is for you. Help yourself
to anything you like. But never touch the tree in the middle of the
Garden. That tree gives knowledge of good and evil. ''
One day, Adam and Eve were gathering berries for dinner when she heard a voice behind her, Eve turned around to see a snake talking to her. He told her that if she ate from The Tree of the Knowledge she'd
become just like God, and will be able to decide for
yourself what is right and what is wrong."The woman looked at the
fruit and thought how wonderful it would be to be as wise and powerful as God. She listened to the serpent and ate the fruit and gave some to Adam. Suddenly Eve realized that she was feeling guilty. She had disobeyed God and knew she'd done something wrong, they became fearful of God.
God knew that they had eaten from The Tree of the Knowledge and was sad that Adam and Eve had disobeyed them. He told them that they had to leave the Garden of Eden, From now on they would have to make a living from the soil, they would need to make clothes and grow food and Nothing would come easily not even childbirth. And one day, they will die.
The moral of the story is to always respect and listen to God. Because of Gods generosity and kindness they were living in the garden of Eden were they had no troubles or worries. The only warning that he gave to Adam and Eve was not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But they knowingly did what God had told them not too. ( If someone tells you not to do something, you shouldn't do it. )
I think that god wanted to test them as well, if he hadn't told Adam and eve that the Tree of Knowledge was in the middle of the garden they probably wouldn't of even found it.
